Mayor Michael T. Foley has submitted notice of his resignation as the Mayor to the Westbrook City Council, effective February 12, 2024. After serving the City of Westbrook as a leader in various positions for over two decades, the last four of which he served as mayor, Mayor Foley announced his departure as he has accepted the position of Town Manager for the Town of Gray, Maine.
