Sign A Child Up For a Free Tree (2026)

Walker Memorial Library is once again partnering with Neighborhood Forest to give away free tree seedlings to Westbrook kids age 18 and under! Open for youth age 18 and under who live in Westbrook or have a current Walker Memorial Library card!

Parents/guardians can sign kids up for free trees at the Neighborhood Forest website here.*

Sign up by March 15th, 2026. Seedlings should arrive at WML around Earth Day (April 22)! We will let participants know once the trees are available and can be picked up at Walker during our open hours.

*You will be asked if you want to purchase books/items or donate to Neighborhood Forest, but there is no obligation to buy anything. Signing up for a tree is free!
